Put the onion soup mix and 8 cups of water into a 3 1/2 quart saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Turn down to a simmer and cover for 20-25 minutes. Ladle the soup into bowls and enjoy.
Makes 6 to 8—8 oz. servings.
Serving suggestions: Top with toasted croutons and your favorite white cheese. Put under broiler until the cheese is melted and browned.
