Custom Processing

T. Ho Foods is a 15-year-old custom food processing facility in Knoxville, TN. We work with our customers in the food industry by providing individualized service and customized products to restaurants and distributors. We work with small, medium, and large chain restaurants as well as large volume single locations such as convention centers and entertainment venues to provide "their" products to them through their food service distributor.

We will take your most labor intensive, highest volume, and difficult menu items out of your work load. You will have the opportunity to work with our Research and Development Team on your menu items, so that we can ensure that the products that you serve will always be of the highest quality. We can either follow your original recipe or we would be happy to assist you in developing new menu items.

Partnering with us may also reduce the equipment cost or wear and tear of your equipment at each location since we will be making the menu items for you as finished products. This will also reduce the amount of space that you need for inventory since you would be ordering finished products rather than the 10-15 ingredients that may go into the product. For each meal you will just pull out the amount that you need at that time, so this will also reduce your waste or thrown away excess products. Finally, and most importantly, having contracted out your most challenging and labor involved menu items with confidence, will allow you the time to focus on other aspects of growing your business, pleasing your customers, and increasing sales.

Getting the process started is very simple. More importantly, it is just a time for you to get more information, see if we can process the product that you would like with the quality and consistency that you desire, and see if this will be a money and time saving opportunity for you.

First
Contact us to answer your initial questions about our services. Then, we will follow up by setting a meeting to discuss the specific products you are interested in having processed. After determining the products to be processed, we will sign a confidentiality agreement to protect your recipes.

Next
Using your recipes, we will prepare product samples for your review. When you agree that we have a perfectly matched product, we will work together to design the packaging and labeling that meet your specifications and guidelines set forth by the USDA or FDA.

When you are completely satisfied with the final product, we will quote the price.

The Results
If you decide to move forward from this pont, we will contact your distributor, set the item up in their system, establish a production/distribution schedule and determine a start date for distribution. The product will be listed as proprietary; therefore, your distributor can only sell it as you direct.

We also have the ability to duplicate a product that you like, even if you do not have the recipe. We can guarantee that each product will remain consistent with your needs and standards.        We have an extensive line of roll products that you may incorporate into your menu. You may order existing        rolls or alter the ingredients to better suit your restaurant's fare.
